INTRODUCTORY
A gentle but energetic approach to flamenco. uLearn a short routine and fundamental techniques including:
basic dance steps & flamenco footwork
hand, arm & body movements
rhythm & handclaps
No experience necessary, no partner needed, suitable for men and women!
BEGINNERS/INTERMEDIATE
Courses cover essential variations of footwork, arms and bodywork typical to flamenco.
Learn body awareness
Improve posture, musicality and co-ordination
Explore a wider variety of flamenco “palos”
Introduction to props such as fans, castanets and shawls. Learn at your own pace!
INTERMEDIATE +
For students with at least 5+ years experience in flamenco and have an understanding of the “palos”.
Some choreographies will utilise props eg: castanets, manton(shawls) bastón (canes) and abanico (fans).
Suitable for experienced dancers who would like to explore complex footwork, improvisation and develop a deeper understanding of flamenco.
Flamenco Music Lessons
Now available directly by affiliated instructors and also include opportunities in accompaniment for dance classes, online or in person.

& Childrens Dance Workshops
SENES Flamenco offers a range of options for School Incursions and Public Cultural Dance Workshops in Flamenco, Spanish Dance and Music.
Workshops are suitable for all ages and are accompanied by live flamenco guitarists for Victorian Schools.
Students & audiences have a chance to see a dance demonstration with traditional flamenco costumes, props and live music, as well as participate in hands-on flamenco dance workshops.
